Welcome to Heartstone Pointers!

I had no idea that one fateful walk with Sue Welch of Jaderiver Pointers would result in a lifelong passion for this incredible breed. They are loyal, sweet beyond belief and tuned into their owners yet have incredible hunting drive. Watching them run for hours, ranging to a dot in the distance, checking in then following their nose back out again, was an amazing experience. Nothing moves like a pointer working a field – their graceful speed coupled with incredible endurance and tenacity makes them unique. It was also an added bonus to discover that the show bred ones have a solid ‘off switch’ in the house – sprawling on the most comfortable surfaces they can find with total relaxation.
