Welcome to Nose Work Passion
Travel to your dog’s world of scent through K9 Nose Work ™
Nose Work – The “Dog centric” sport
Nose Work Passion allows you to join in on the fastest growing dog sport in the world.
Dogs naturally use their noses to scan their environment and understand it but they rarely get to use their nose the way they want to in their daily life with people. Imagine how they feel when they realize that, with nose work, they get ‘paid’ to search and they get to ‘lead the dance!’ This sport uses that hunting behaviour and mimics professional scent detection work.
From exuberant puppies to creaky elders, it’s truly an all-encompassing dog sport. It teaches focus in youngsters, burns mental and physical energy and improves the lives of dogs with cognitive age issues.
It is also suitable for fearful or ‘dog reactive’ dogs because searches are done in a controlled environment with only one dog working at a time.
Nose Work Passion brings ongoing classes to the Mission, BC area.

I'm a person that has been in the conformation world of dogs for many years and, when Covid hit I was struggling to find safe and useful ways to get good experiences and exposure for my puppy so she wasn’t fearful. I decided to try nose work with Brenda Cox, and I’m so happy I did .The shy puppy that I started with flourished over the 6 weeks. By the end of our 6 week program her overall confidence was bursting. This has helped her in so many ways. I am really looking forward to getting her out in the conformation ring doing a different job ! The connection that we have worked on at nose work class is really going to pay off for the show ring. You really learn how to read each other and work as a team. I can’t wait to start our next round of nose work classes! Jennifer Driessen
Finally a class that puts my Norwegian Elkhound’s nose to work , Brenda is amazing and totally understands the way my girl thinks! We’re looking forward to learning more nose work this fall. Jennifer Glead
